well then what mods have u done to urs? and 14 sec quarter mile is awsome. but do u have the stock engine? and id rather know a 0-100km time than a quarter mile.
also, i guess im asking how much potential does the stock 86kw 4age engine of the ae82 have without going into HUGE modifications?

Heres some shoddy logic
4ac single cam 16secs 0-100km/h
therefore a twin cam 16/2 = 8 secs

Shit 11.4, you must have pushed that hard, I dont think this 4ac would break 15sec if I thrashed it.

brand new a 4ac in a sprinter did 10.9 0-100km
but mine with 317000km would be lucky to crack 12, but im not sure wheather to changer at peak torque 4500, peak power 5200 or 7000 lol, i normally change at 5500, it would help if it could pull 100 in 2nd, but there is an extra change

ur answer is the same as
how long is a peice of string
a strock ae82 goes as quick as you can handle to drive to a certain point it may be rated 0-100 in 7seconds but you may shift like and granny and do it in 1 minute

Ermmm i've got a few articles of the old ae82 twincams...
They had a 0-100 of around 9.7 seconds...
17 second 1/4 ish...
Thats what they are CAPABLE of...
But yeah damn good little cars those are

hmmmm unfortunately its a bit of a hard thing to work out... having a twincam over a single cam won't make it twice as fast, Good theory though... Its like people saying adding another turbo will make the car twice as fast hehehe...
Not likely
But yeah interesting idea that...

nah, had a small race with an ae82 twin cam the other day, i actually fared pretty well...
