Hey all. Ive been offered a turbo kit for my corolla GTi.
its a 92 (4age), the kit is for a 4afe, and im told it will go in with very little problems. What are your thoughts??
Is there a great difference between 4afe and 4age??
Cheers

the difference is in the head. the 4afe has a economoy type head.
You could put it on your 4age.
I dont know why theyed make a turbo kit for a 4afe though. Its probably for a 4efe. in which case it wont fit

I read about this all the time, for some reason you can get more torque using a fe bottom end an a ge head. "Why" ive got no idea, but it works apparently.
different exhaust manifold, flange needs to be re-made.

Yes if you use the 1.8l 7AFE, not the 4AFE.
