AE-71 Pannelvan selling.......Stuff added Thu, 08 April 2004 15:41 Go to next message
I unfortunatley have to bite the bullet and sell the girl to fund my MX-73 build. Undecided wether to split it up and sell as parts or sell as a whole the car is descibed below.
I have a W-57 (i think) to go in it just need a bellhousing
And the major down side of the car is rust

This would be great for someone who has a KE-70/AE-71 as it can be used as a donor car to transplant everything from.

motor has approx 280,000ks

offers????

will supply with pink slip

Also have Complete NEW clutch kit for 100KW 4A-GE
and Tail light lenses new.for pannelvan
4A starter motor
air con condenser
W-57 G-box
MX-73 wheels good cond tyres 50% to suit AE-86/AE-71

Cheers
Richard

The rust is around most of the windows as the previous owner (He owned it from new) sealed them with acetic cure silicone, which eats metal.

Not much rust visible mostly going from inside out. Also inside around the roof seam.

ROB: i am pretty sure the motor with cross-member box and front struts can go in almost any KExx. and wheels and hydro clutch.

Ken Mee: not sure on diff but think its a bit shorter ratio than sedan

Prob want $700 for motor, box, loom and ECU.

Would you split the adjustable strut tops? How much?

Do you know if any other bumpers fit the panelvan other than the metal ones?

Cheers

Hey man,

I just registered to see if I could find parts for my ke70 van.
Its been in a front end collision and needs guards, bumpers, lights, grill etc. But I wouldn't mind doing an engine conversion aswell. What's involved as far as legality, Rego, engineers etc? Did you do the conversion in yours? If I go for conversion I will buy the whole car. Pm me with a price.

Thanks.

Michael.

Sorry, forgot to keep in touch.
I'm out, I've decided to put a 3S-GTE & 4wd in my car instead, it's going to work out a lot cheaper than I thought.

so i am correct in saying the engine mounts need no modifying for the engine to be fitted to my KE? if this is so, and you decide to sell the engine seperatly i may be interested in purchasing the mounts by themselves if someone gets the engine b4 me.

its so tempting ive got $1400 atm but i wana reduce my credit card to 1000 instead of 2, so i can eventually pay it off, man i wish i wish, could have the money in about a month but doubt itd be around then still Sad ill let u know if i get it sooner, cheers
