I gather the car is in NSW?

It's not the orginal paint, it has been given a bare metal respray in the factory colour. Not a spec of rust in the car at all!

I don't have any more pics handy, but you can get some more details here http://madmaxcars.com/ford/ its not my car but it is the same colour. (looking at the price I should send my car to the US Wink )

Your car looks to be in very nice condition! If you ever drive it to Queensland, I want a look!
What is'nt finised with the engine? Was it built with performanc in mind?
And what is the transmision?

Oh, do the shutters over the headlights work?

The Ford Landau comes standard with a 351 Cleveland V8 Heart

The engine is a second hand one that has been freshened up, ie new rings bearings reco heads. It also has heavier valve springs and a bigger cam.

The engine is in the car but not everything is hooked up. The gearbox needs a new sump gasket and the linkages etc adjusted. So its close to running, but I don't have the time to finish it. I pulled the engine out of a falcon and it was running, has a very nice V8 sound to it, very crisp too. Very Happy

I don't want to sell it, but I'm getting married in six weeks and have too many cars and not enough money for the wedding Sad Sad

The shutters work fine, no scraping at all.

Unfortunately there are some things that cars can't do, I need my dinner cooked and shirts ironed Wink

Mate, i'm going to have a look around and see what Landua's are selling for around here! I have alway wanted one, but good examples have alway been to expensive!
I may need to get some more photos from you in the future, cause you are just a bit to far away from me to just pop around and have a look!
