s/c problem? Sun, 11 April 2004 05:40 Go to next message
last night i punched my car thru 1st and 2nd gear to red, as i shifted into 3rd, with my foot to the floor, it felt so flat, like i was cruising and i noticed s/c light was not on. got me worried for few second while i waited for the revs to climb and didnt know what to do i threw it in 4th and car powered forwarded all of a sudden and s/c kicked in

can someone explain to me what could have been the problem? is there such thing as a slipping s/c clutch? i know my belt is worned out quite bad, hole right thru it, can this be the problem? got me worried bit then i thought i blew somethin as i went to 3rd but its running normal again

neone experienced same thing b4?
