Legal ride height in NSW ... Sun, 11 April 2004 14:03 Go to next message
I am going to look up RTA site in a second... but is the legalride height for a car in NSW 10cms ? i.e. Does all parts of the vehicle meaning chassis, bodykit has to clear the road by 10 cms ....

I am asking this because my friend in VIC got defected as his exhaust was less than 10 cms from ground.

Hi,

Couldn't find anything on the RTA site itself or even the DOTARS site.

But I did find this:

Technical enquiries regarding Vehicle Regulations should be directed to 1300 137 302

This is for the RTA, I am sure they will be able to confirm for you.

Cheers

The centre of the driving lights needs to be no less than 600mm above the surface of the road.

The coke can test is only a rule of thumb and should be treated as such.
