Just found that there is an agent for them in Brisbane. A fair drive from here, but what can ya do.
I would rather go to an actual place that will be doing the work and telling them exactly what I want. If I use a middle man, no doubt I wont get what I want.

Have you thought of using bicycle handbrake cables ?
Mountain bike, BMX etc are usually stainless steel and heavy duty.

I need one that is fairly short with an outer Dia of about 10mm to suit the throttle body cable guide i'm using.

If anyone interested, this place makes custom throttle cables:
Advanced Trailer Spares
Unit 4/ 71 Beenleigh Rd Coopers Plains QLD 4108
ph: (07) 3345 7144 Winches
Dont ask me why a trailer parts place makes throttle cables

hey that is around the cornder form me
but cheapest way would be to buy one from wreckers with the right adjuster on the end and cut it down to suit thats what i did with my cable and it works well

I've always found cutting down longer cables works great - ke55/70 etc. corolla ones are pretty handy for this. So easy to do, and with a little lube, ends up feeling nicer than the original

Sorry to dig up an old thread here..
But I had a question about shortening a accelerator cable. I have a KE70 one that is way too long and want to shorten it.
But if I cut off the end that goes on the throttle body, how do you go about putting an end on it again to hook into the throttle body?
Thanks
Joel
