I have just installed a 4agze Map sensored engine into my AE92 seca, the problem i am having is that I'm only reaching 5psi it will not boost to 8 psi. I have driven my car during the day and at night so the weather is not a issue as it doesn't boost past 5psi, The boost is consistant, i have checked the hoses to the intercooler etc the look fine, Any Ideas ???
Ps I also have some part i want to sell
4AGZE intercooler , Injectors , supercharger , the block with the head and cams etc.
i will updates post the prices later keep an eye out.

A lot of boost gauges are not accurate.

I have an auto meter gauge and its accurate. I had a 4agze in it before and that was hitting 8 psi and it was reading on the gauge. I don't think its the gauge, but thanks for the reply!

my AW11 is an '86, when i first got it it just WOULDNT go over 5psi, thought i had a drastic problem , replaced the belt replaced the piping joins etc etc it just wouldnt boost any more. i got my hands on another charger unit and measured the pulleys on the blowers side by side, my mr2 unit was a larger pulley ... the other blower makes 8psi now i think it must have been a thing on early early GZE's to only make 5psi due to a large pulley. go to ebay and try pickup a new pulley for the blower or just an ae92 unit complete.

yes the aw11 4agze s/c pulley is a bit larger in diameter than the later map 4agze's. but it still pushes approx 8psi from factory.
