extra injector questions

I was thinking today about extra fuelling that will be needed in the future. I have seen a US spec supra with a T72 run a 10.5 @ 135ish MPH with the stock fuel system.
stock = 550cc * 6 = 3300cc
I was thinking could I get 2 extra 550cc injectors to make my setup
(380cc *6) + (550cc *2) = 3380cc
So in theory there would be slighly higher fuelling capacity.
The computer would most likely be a Wolf3D Ver. 4 or a Microtech LTX12.
So would the extra injectors have to be the exact same impedance as my current ones? I am not sure how you would wire it either, would there be much loss of signal if you were to wire it in series with the rest of the injectors?
thanks in advance

and where will these two injectors be?? at the throttle body?
why not get 6 properly sized injectors and not bother with the stuffing around.... 'extra injectors' unless properly staged, and arranged for proper fuel distribution, will be a major pain in the ass

either use 6 big replacement injectors, or 6 "cheap" additional injectors, factoring in cost and "stuffing around"
do it right the first time!

yeah, i was thinking of putting them before the throttle body. would this still distribute the fuel well or not?
I am just thinking of alternatives here, nothing is set for sure as I am just planning my mods for the future.

basically, EFI manifolds are designed for air distribution, not fuel distribution.
i agree with SBS, either 6 bigger injectors, or piggyback 6 smaller ones... 6 slightly bigger ones seems sooo much easier
heh heh, get a megasquirt and run it piggyback heh heh

alright, i think i will just end up getting 550cc ones.
BTW what is this megasquirt? I have heard the name but no idea what it is.

I have seen a few cars now that run a extra injector setup and i must say it is a bandaid solution. Isnt a fix to your leaning out problem. I found that with cars that use this setup tend to lean out around the pistons at the farest end of the manifold. Plus the extra rooting around to stage it all right you might aswell just go and get 550cc injectors.

yeah it's a really crude and cheap fix for something so easily fixed in the first place.
honestly, it will be a nightmare to get to run. making only 2 injectors fire 3 times a revolution and making 6 injectors fire only once is asking for trouble.
just run the 550cc injectors and be done with it, or go straight to the 1700cc indy 'blues'....
