im trying to figure out how the nitrous jets are asembled and tuned..
say im looking at a multiport system, and i want to install 6 fogger heads into the intake tract:

where the hell are the tuning jets located in this thing? underneath/inside the individual n20 and fuel screw fittings as seen on the above pic? furthermore, is it the 'flare jet' jet that is used in these things? im guessing these are inserted and screwed down into the fogger jet body ??
flare jets:

just trying to figure tis out folks, its not obvious on any of the main NOS sites how this is all assembled.
oh, one more thing, does anyone know the dis/advantages of nylon pressure lines versus bent steel lines?
cheers

maybe the difference between flare jets and funnel jets is simply what kind of hose/line is running to the jet, eg braided vs stell/nylon ??
anyone?

All the N2O systems are a bit of a black art Ed depends on where and when you buy the bits and so forth, basicly just have to order all the bits and see what you end up with besides a lighter wallet.
Your DEFEINTLY going to need todo a LOT of work in the traction department
Your other cheaper option is just inject N2O and up the fuel pressure heaps (two fuel pressure reg's one set to a higher pressure bypassed under normal conditions) then you just jet the N2O for however much extra fuel you manage to get in.
I looked into this awhile ago but for me bottle refills are too much $$$$

black art? no kidding... the LACK of information on setting up these things is amazing. i thought the web would be full of 'how-to' articles etc... it really aint.
i cant even get a straight answer on how to plumb a line into the fogger nozzle, and what fittings are needed
ill keep looking
traction? highly overrated doood

I found out rims sideways in dirt give great traction

Heya Ed,
I'd do some "social engineering". Ring up a few places that sell N20 systems and go through the motions of asking them rough costs etc...
Then say "Ok for that $2000 what do I get?" then you'd have a good idea of the bits you needed.
I dunno might work, might not...

ok what you have there is a standard fogger nozzle,
the flare jets go into the ends where the hoses attach and then the hose screws over the top,
for starting off with the gas i would run a single fogger nozzle infront of the throttle body and get it sorted out first then step up to a 6 jet setup,
use a vl turbo fuel pump for the fuel, start of with say 30 fuel and 30 gas jets, 40psi fuel pressure, if it is to rich lower the fuel pressure a little, if you get to 30psi and it is still to rich go up in NOS jet, and up the pressure back to 40psi,
its pretty easy to tune with just takes some time to get it right, and have 2 or 3 arming switchs and big lights if you try and start the car and the nos is on you will blow everything to pieces

ain't that the truth. i started a car with nos still in the i/c pipes and blew the engine bay to pieces
fogger nozzles are usually rated up to 200hp each so if theres 6 of them and u put the smallest jets in them 50hp(oznos)u will be running a 300hp shot. i rekon start off with a single nozzle and work ur way up.the jets are bought as a pair x and y and come in numeros hp settings. get ur self a adjustable reg or rising rate if your runnin forced induction and dial in the specified fuel pressure(40 psi)and take it from there.
if ur interested i have a oznos single nossle kit for sale it comes with everything except the bottle and comes with a autometer nitrous pressure gauge $600
