My granny sold her '87 Colt for $2200 recently. It was not in perfect nick either, but had a RWC.

This car is in as close to perfect nick as you can get for a 14 year old car, if no one wants it for $500, i might just go and get a RWC and sell it for a decent price, its just i have a few other cars to sell at the moment, belonging to other people who dont have the time to do so. Basically im overloaded with cars, and i just want to sell them, get something for them, and be done with them.

you get a RWC for your state, and take it into a government shopfront, hand them the papers from the sale. You pay stamp duty of 3% of the buying price, they change the cars details, you pay for the period of rego that you want, as well as a one off administration fee, And its done and yours. Costs about $300 for that with 3 months rego.

ive heard that the cordia turbo motor is an easy conversion into these.. make an excellent sleeper!

yeah, i can back you up on that, ive seen a cordia engined colt, and it was worryingly fast. sorry for the lack of pics guys, the car is on the other side of town and i didnt get out there today, ill try and have them by saturday
