just wanted to know if anyone has heard of a 4meu. Looked a bit wierd to me and it was carby also..

Yep. API engines must have imported a heap of them into the country in the mid 80's. The EFI was turfed in favor of the carby, but the red sticker across the front of the rocker cover remained.
