hi every1, i was wondering if u could run ULP in a carby fed motor without having to use that addative crap, n what would be needed to do it,

carby or efi doesnt matter on fuel type, what matters is the engine design and internal components material
what engine? what year?

use premium unleaded and you shall be OK
unless anyone else has a good reason

18R-G's have alloy heads with hardened exhaust valve seats, so they don't need leaded fuel and they definitely don't need that additive crap! As mentioned above, premium unleaded works well... that's all I've ever run my 18R-GU on.
