Who would offer the best insurance for a 20 old... who owns a 1993 Celica WRC Edition?
The lowest I've found so far is around the $500 mark

500 is cheap... I'm guessing that's 3rd party fire and theft?
I just reduced the premium on one of my cars by $450, simply by changing from Suncorp to NRMA.

Nah, it is just the standard third party. NRMA is damn expensive in NSW. I found mine with cgu.

Shannons wont do it. Has to be either more than 15 years old, or modified.
Just cars is probably your best bet

I got a quote with just cars yesterday. This is how it goes:
1974 TA22 Celica
3S-GTE conversion
Front mount intercooler
Custom diff
Custom brakes all round
Aftermarket seats
Upgraded seat belts
Youngest driver 23 with lost licence in history.
3rd party = $412
3rd party + fire and theft = $712
Above prices cover unlimited mods as long as I inform them.

Shannons wont do if you have lost your license in the past.
Youandcool wont do if you have big mods.

I'm with JustCar.
The only problem I have with them, is their fire and theft scheme is hardly worth it, as they wont do an agreed value unless you're on full comprehensive insurance with them.
Other than that, I've been happy with the service and their unlimited mods policy.

I've got 3rd party fire + theft with AAMI - $492
If you call them on the phone they'll tell you that they can't insure an under 25 to drive a Celica - but you can get cover if you buy the policy online !?!
When I called to ask about it the supervisor said that it was fine and that I was covered! Go figure...
