Injector wiring problem

i have found that my no 2 injector is not firing as a result of a wiring problem. im just wondering if anyone knows as to why there is a #10 and #20 injector bank and why all injectors dont run together off the same pulse.
The reason being, if i cant find the prob, can i just hardwire the injector off another injector?\
this is off an early Toyota EFI system (2TGEU)

batched injection, would have thought that 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 would have fired at the same time - normally they all share a common positive its just the ECU which grounds out the circuit to cause it to open...
so if its 2, check, that when car is running, that its got power to one of the terminals on the plug...if not, grab power from over at number 4 then try.
if its got power, then its not being grounded out by the ECU, so, drag the ground from 4 and you should be set.
(i'm thinking 4AGE here)

yeh i think 2tge and 4age are very similar setups. yeh its weird seems like that the injectors are getting a positive current through both connections. and on the 3 better injectors both are close to 12v, whereas the buggered one is only getting about 1v to it. dunno why its underpowering itself.
dunno if u can read wiring diagrams or not but if u have a look at simon's celica website http://users.chariot.net.au/~stmezz/wiring2.htm and
http://users.chariot.net.au/~stmezz/wiring3.htm
it looks like the injector is left out on its own, but then further down it links up. any idea why its been wired differently to the others?

2T-GEU's actually fire all injectors simultaneously. There is a #10 and #20 circuit but they are both joined on the PCB so they're effectvely the same circuit. If one injector is playing silly-buggers, that suggests the wiring between the ECU and the injector is a bit dodgy OR the injector itself is stuffed. Get your multimeter out and start probing!

so if i cut off the old 2 wires for the no2 injector and tapped off anothers it would be ok to do? can i do it to any other injector, or is it better to use the 4th one?
