18rg Into Ra60... How much, Power etc etc

hi all ive decided to fit a 18rg into my ra60 but this is wut i have to ask 
1) how much would it cost drive in drive away for this conversion???
and 2) wut kinda of kw figures am i looking at roughly in terms of engine and wheel kw's??
3) and lastly after i do get the conversion, wut should the first things i do to it??

No idea about the costs, I'd say save up about $4k for it.
The 18R-G is rated at around 118kW or so from the fly I think. That would prolly mean (rough guess) about 70kW at the wheels.
First thing you should do is get it engineered...  You will prolly get a new exhaust with it anyway, but extractors should help with power...

I'd feel pretty ripped off paying $4k for a conversion like this, it practically bolts in if you start with the right engine.
I did the whole job for less than $2k in an RA23, but I did that myself. It only took a single afternoon to put it in and get it running in my back yard - it really is that easy!

18rg is a straight swap for any r series motor
i.e. ra23/40/60/65 etc.

You were asking for a drive in drive out price weren't you? Norbie said less than $2k if you did the whole thing yourself.
If you can do it yourself, you should feel ripped off for $4k. But if not, then I think $4k is about right for a drive in drive out...
