I am considering putting 13x7in mags on my KE55, and to keep it legal, and looking the goods, I want to install some flares on the wheel-arches. I have considered both the bolt-on variety (ala SLR 5000) and the others without the exposed bolts. I have read somewhere that aftermarket RX3 flares will fit, with a small amound of grinding work.. what do you guys think?

I look forward to hearing your ideas Cool

a few of the boys on oldcorollas would be interested in this..
are they steel or glass? if glass, moulded off originals?

PM me a price for sets and i'll try and rouse some interest Wink

Cya, Stewart

ps, and 13x7? what width tyres? going much bigger than 195 wide may start to lose you traction since the car does not weigh much...

in NSW, maximum you could use legally would be 6" due to the low weight of the car.

my choice would be 15x6 superlites Very Happy set the car off well!

my other motoring interest, MK1 golfs.. those guys sometimes cut wheel arch sections froms wrecks, and weld them to the outer edge of their orginal guards. some time and some filler and they get a very clean look.
