has anyone here got the icq installation program? as i formatted the hard drive and the new icq when i download it and try and install it always freezes, i've tried it on a few different computers and does the same thing so has anyone got an older version they could send me?

Have you tried a program called Trillian? It handles ICQ, MSN, IRC, Yahoo, AIM and its less than half the size of ICQ! Also uses less resources! Give it a try if you hav'nt already!

thanks cool one but i can't be stuffed playing around with new programs yup got it manipulate thanks i'll install it tomorrow as i'm on my dads lap top at the moment so i better ot put it on here and clutter it up check if my icq number is still active 2520095

Icq Is the crappest buggy program. I service a lot of computers everyday and icq is the main cause of software errors
but i still use it, Ive been using it since 98a i think
cool1 u might be onto something i might have to try that program
does it handle all those instant messager programs at the same time?

Yeah mate it does all of them at the same time!
It takes a bit of time to get use to, but its well worth it!

Yeah i've just been playin with it! Trillian too 
I was trying to get the events working! So it goes into away mode after 5 minutes or so! But I could'nt get it working! I'll have to keep working on it. Let me know if you get it working.

Why is ICQ so big??? Mine is only 4000kb... Do you mean that is saves all of the users history's on the computer aswell???
