Keep walking into the light son. Sell that inferior engine and make peace with the Toyota lord. Power it with a Toyota motor and send the CA sea worthy.
JK Good luck with the conversion.

I've seen 3 oz sites that featured ca18det powered ae86s
http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/postlist.p hp?Cat=&Board=UBB9&page=0&view=collaps ed&sb=5&o=
on freshalloy us forum, a guy posted his ca18det powered ae86. Clean install, car was painted camo. May have to register and do a search.
on another us forum a guy that posts has a ca18 powered corolla thats in the 12s on the stock turbo, microtech tuned.
I've owned a number of 4ags and my daily has been a ca18det s13 for some time. Pretty similiar design to the 4age actually, inside and out, except ca18 has a crank girdle and has done 400hp to the wheels on stock internals/ chipped ecu. Wouldn't try that with a 4ag. If u haven't done so, change your rod bearings while its out. I actually have a complete ca18/5spd/loom & everything, awaiting a corolla swap... got my eye on an 82 wagon (I'll change to rack steering)

My workshop has performed this conversion. Goes together quite well. Try using a RB20 box to correct the shifter position slightly (theyre shorter )
