HELP!!! RA40 electrics/turn signals

Hi guys,
I haven't posted on here yet because i just got my RA40 a couple weeks ago and it's been sitting at the mechanics getting roadworthy. But the past couple days i've been driving it around getting used to it, and just last night some serious problem came up - no turn signals! Hazard lights work, but the turn signals are all dead. I noticed on the wiring diagrams that the hazard light switch is connected to a different fuse, so i figured it must be the fuse, but replacing it with the (working) cigarette lighter and tail light fuses didn't work at all.
From looking at the schematics it seems the only places where there could be a problem (given the hazard lights work) are on the red wire between the hazard lights switch @ connection F1 and the green/black wire that connects from the red wire to the turn signal switch. I'm not really sure how to remove the dashboard (and don't really want to if i can help it) but it looks like the 3-way connector with the red wire from hazard switch, green/black wire to turn signal switch and white/black wire to ground is intact. The only other possibility is perhaps the light blue wire from the fuse has a problem. How do i troubleshoot this stuff? I really really need to get back on the road tomorrow (to get to work) and there don't seem to be any mechanics open today (Brisbane) that can take a look at this. I'm sure it'd just be a quick fix given there are only about 3 wires to check, i just don't know what to do
Be great if anyone had some pointers...
Thanks

Aha! I am a complete idiot. The fuse WAS dead, but the problem was all the other fuses i was trying to replace it with were dead too. I shall henceforth be known as amw - the resident newbie idiot. Thanks for the pointer celicaguy. I'll get this stuff down yet...
