a guy in WA is selling a head unit for 400 bux, im in sydney and will have to get it posted.
Wat is the best way i should do it
Send cheque then wait for him to send it ?
can someone tell me the way they have done it as i dont want to lose my money

you get a note in your mail box telling you to pick it up at your local post office
you pay the cost plus postage

i was gona send out some stuff to a guy in WA a few weeks back. i went to aust post and told them the package was no more than 5 kg and was in a small box and they quoted me $18 bucks roughly to send it out. hope that helps u out.

i got a digital dash sent over from sydney last thursday (took one week but it was the long weekend, so not bad)
delievery was $18.40 and was delivered to my door.
weigh was 4.5Kg
not bad if you tell me

Yeah, you can either do 'direct deposit' or internet transer, what ever you want to call it, and pay for both parcel and postage (should be max $20 as quoted above)
Or for extra securtiy (if you are worried) you can do COD where he gives the package to Aust Post, they deliver it to your nearest Post Office and send you a letter. You then pay for the good + postage + COD charge (somehwere between $10 and $20), they then send him a letter and he goes to his post office and picks up a cheque made out to him (I think thats how it works)
Its a lot of extra fucking around, but by far the safest if you are worried
