An 86, changing form the standard aussie 4ac to an efi engine, wether be a 4age, gze or even 3sge-fam.
Other than changing the actual engine, bolting it up....
What is the "hidden" things that:
1. MUST be changed....
2. SUGGESTABLE to be changed?
eg. fuel tank (EFI. is it a MUST?) and al the other stuff whatever it is that must be changed or fiddled with going from a mechanical to ECU'd engine.

If its a FWD engine :
Exhaust MAnifold
Inlet Manifold
Throttle position sensor - rotated
All engines :
Clutch pipe to clear exhaust ( 90 Degree connector works)
Throttle cable
EFI Pump
Thermostat housing ( I didnt bother putting on in )
Wiring up speed sensor in Speedo ( Not strictly necessary)
Oxy Sensor

the efi tank isnt a must i think its the way you mount the pump
have a look at another sprinters fuel pump to get an idea

You need a high pressure efi pump.
You can:
- Run an efi pump directly out of your stock sprinter pickup. This is dodgy and will cause fuel surge if your tank is low.
- run a small low-pressure lift pump filling a surge tank and then feed your efi pump from the surge tank. Much better, but good luck fitting all that crap under a sprinter rear end.
- Pay lots for an efi sprinter tank
- Cut open your stock tank, get baffles welded in and then mount your choice of in-tank efi pump.
- Or run it on LPG.
Then make sure you replace all rubber fuel hose between the pump and fuel pressure regulator with high-pressure efi stuff. And plumb the return line from the fuel rail back into the stock tank return line. The factory metal lines are big enough to flow enough fuel.
