For Sale - RA40 Celica Liftback - Sold!!! Wed, 21 April 2004 08:59 Go to next message
Hey Guys,

I've got a 83' RA40 Celica (Yellow) for sale for $600 ono.
Interior is in good condition except for an odd coloured drivers seat that had to be changed (old man seat covers hide that though).

Lowered springs and new shocks as of 12 months ago. By the time I sell it I should have a full service done it. Unfortunately rego is only til late June but will have no problem passing again. A bit of a bubble of rust under the fuel filler.
4 Speaker stereo (still searching for a CD player to replace my one).

Alarm, Central Locking.

Anything else I may have forgotten, just ask. I have pics but only taken at night. I'm waiting for a day when I'm not at work and its not pissin with rain to wash it and take some decent photos.

This car is a pretty original item, the previous owner was an elderly gent, and the car has some nice things bit to it like the factory parcel shelf (reclining fabric type) and is generally very clean in side would suit second car, daily driver whilst building your project. Reason for sale... newly purchased Supra wants a spot in the garage Evil or Very Mad

RA40's were taken out of production in late 1981.

Could you clarify the date of production of your vehicle for the interested buyers out there?

Hey there peoples. The price has dropped to $1150. I would like to sell this before it runs out of rego, that way I get some money back on it. I'm going to be in Queensland over the weekend so if anybody is interested leave a post and I'm sure Lambolica will fill you in or contact me about it (or even if anyone in Queensland wants it then this can be arranged).

Com'on guys. Somebody has to help me out. The car will need to blue slipped on the 25th of August and by then, nobody is going to want to buy it. I need money to mod/repair my Supra.

The suspension is good, shocks were better obviously when they were new (you can actually push down on the car and make it move now) but still in good condition.

No power steering, and tyres are ok. Might have some spares lying around as well.

I'm not sure how many km are on the clock as it only goes to 99 999km. It's on about 50 thou at the moment and an old guy owned it for about 12-15 years prior to me.

It's still recently had a service so the fluids are all new.

It all passed rego... except a couple of pieces of rust that have to be touched up. All going well it'll be ready soon. Well it better be cause I've opnly got another 6 days before dooms day.
