Having some probs with Ke38/55 Wagon. Wed, 21 April 2004 14:58 Go to next message
Heya,
I am totaly lost in what to do in the next upcoming weeks so i thought i just ask people and see what they say. Im not sure wether i should colour code the bumbers (rear & front) or not. The colour is sky blue - a real light blue. It is going for a re soray in 2 weeks so im still deciding.
Now the next part. Engine seems to be running weird. Not overheating but close when idling for 10mins, i know cars dont like to idle alot but is this normal. it just leaks a tad bit of coolant as a sign of overheating.
Next the carbie, the 2ndery throttle is ratshit (got a blockage somewhere). What carbie would i best be getting, im not a fan of webber so anything else but.
Next bit and last lol. Carpet, it was orginaly light blue, the headling is black and the door trims are black with red carpet insert. The dash as big piec of wood grain Very Happy. So umm what do you think would match. I have decided to be different so something to bled with everything. I have modified the dash by changing the cluster background to white and the writing to light blue ( what was orginaly black and white). Confused K. I think i have said enough to bore the shitter out of you all. Smile cheers Cool

personally i would leave the chrome on the bumpers or perhaps spray them a nice silver if they arent in the best condition.

Overheating as in how hot? have you checked your timing and flushed your radiator system out recently?

if you dont want to fix your standard one, people use a 18r or 2t carby? (cant remember) re jetted to suit and it gave it a bit more power (as well as more fuel consumption).

I think all the same colour would match the best.

Daniel
