Having tried various incarnations of the "Celicamad Boost Controller" over the years, I was always a big supporter of the benefits but never really got off my arse to buy one - I already have a HKS EVC4 (electroninc boost controller) and for my purposes (ricey or whatever) I was happy with what I already had. However, Dubo this year and Paul waited till my back as turned to fit( in about 20 seconds) the latest and final version of his much discussed boost control system.
To say I am happy would be an extreme understatement. I have waited this long to make any glowing endorsement because I wanted more solid evidence to back up the way I FEEL about how my car now runs.
Last night at WSID the supra ran more than 0.5 seconds and 5 MPH faster than it ever has before, much faster than I expected. It also put in a very strong performance ( in my humble opinion) running in the top 8 at the Dubbo 1/8th mile.
My racing last night was ended prematurely because of a clutch failure - slipping in the meaty part of 2nd 3rd and 4th gear, heating the clutch to the point of "no drive" and sparks from my metal 5 button clutch.
Some would say it was coincidence that my 8 month old clutch died 2 weeks after fitting the controller, but I beleive it is at least a contributing factor, the new mid range torque has simply overpowered the "bullet proof" (from carter's clutch's Newcastle - thats another story) single plate to the point of its destruction.
Credit for the car running so hard must also go to JT Mechanical, who prepared every other aspect of the car.
However I just thought it fitting that I give this product a good wrap. It is every bit as good as any claims you may hear. As I am sure anyone who has also bought one would attest.
If anyone would like to try the controller - I have one spare, on loan, so that any Sydney residents who want to try can visit and I'll fit and tune it to see if it is all Celicamad claims on your car.
Since trying the new version, I am seriously selling my HKS EVC4 complete with plugin loom for JZA70 supra. This is an awesome boost controller in itself - just not as reliable or tunable as the Celicamad unit.
Great for Bling Value too - I will miss it from my instrument cluster.
PM me for any details.

Don't you hate it when the fairies sneak in and improve your car for you. Shame they didn't address the clutch issue though.

Tell me about it!!
BTW I think the valves are $315, but not for long as this product will soon be launched and marketed properly, after this time they will be more expensive.

hehe thanks matt at least you didnt try to blame me for the clutch......
im almost sorry i fitted one to your car you almost beat me at dubbo.......ALMOST
unfortunatley i didnt get time to sort out the external wastegate design . But lets just say its in the development process
you forgot to mention that stueys 12.49 was with my controller as well
glad you like it so much . im just glad your finally selling the HKS .i get to day i told you so
actually i should run a competition for the person that thinks of the product name for these controllers . like a free basic controller .yeah thats a good idea .
one guy already has dibs on the "on boost" controller.
reckons he spends more time on boost then off now
what do you reckon matt call it the "clutch fryer"
or maybe "flywheel f$#ker"
