Pistons for 2TG Thu, 22 April 2004 14:40 Go to next message
Hey all

Looking for some good condition 2nd hand pistons to go into my 2TG rebuild.

Anywhere between 0.5 and 2.0mm oversize.
Circa 9.8:1 CR preferred but not necessary.

Also if anyone knows of a good place to pick these up new please let me know.

Ok, cool.

I'll keep them in mind in case I can't find ones that'll go with my current crank.

1950 cc is a 94 mm bore, right?

Hang on a sec...

I didn't realise they were 88.5s.

If they're 88.5s then that means only a 1725cc bore for a 2TG.
If my sources are correct, a 2TG can be bored to 1750cc without changing the crank.

They might go in without much hassles.

What CR are they?
Got any pics?

but you need a 3T crank cause pin height is further up the pistons for it to work out to 1950 cc
