3SGE prob.

I have a rebuilt 3SGE and when its cold, it seems to bog down allot when u put a bit of throttle on it.
I have just had it tuned, and it seemed to be a bit smoother, but it still feels like shit...
any idea's?
fuel filter perhaps?

mate ive got the same engine and its a bastard to start up.when it does start and i go to drive of in the low rpm it has poor response and feels like its bogged or something but once its past that it goes good.Im keen to see wat other members have to say bout your thread as it may help me.cheers mate

yea, i thought about it... and im gunna replace my fuel filter as it hasn't been done in a long time my guess is... if not ever... and maybe that will fix the prob.
ill let ya know what happens once i do it...

My 4AGE and now my 4AGZE both do the same thing, I don't really worry about it, cause once the engine warms just a tad she's fine...

hmmm.... its a bugger isn't it....
mine is almost like its on carbs when it does this....
bloody 3S's hahah....
ill let ya's all know how it goes after i change the filter..
im hoping it fixes the prob, hell, ive replaced everything else there cant be much left

Just give it time to warm up.

i've used optimax and all that crap... doesn't really do a great deal... a few people were telling me it was the injectors, and to run some injector cleaner...
i replaced my fuel filter, the old one "(once we had it off) was putting out almost black looking petrol *yuk*
but now its drastically out of tune, WTF? i only had it tuned yesterday.,... the idle is really fucked...

I put some injector cleaner in, and i think it fixed the problem
its allot smoother now
