22re is a direct fit but also hard to find. Im sure 21rc would be pretty close but the top shafts also need to be exchanged. ive also noticed that 5me dizzys have the same guts except they run 6 cylinder so a 22re shaft would be needed. I have the 22re one in my rona if ya need any help with it.
no no i mean into the actual electgronic dizzy for the 18rg not the mechanical one
i have an electronic dizzy a proper one and the pickup is stuffed so i need to get a new pick up and the 21r pick up looks very close fit almost same by the ook of it and was wondering if it will bolt into the 18r electronic dizzy
i ahve found out that th pick up does fit but you gotta move the little seal that goes into the side of dizzy up a bit more so there will be enuff wire feed to clear the centre rotating bit.
whyat i have also fouindout if that the pick ups int he early carbi swift's the pick ups in them are identicle to the 18rg pickups so for all those ppl with 18rg electronic dizzy there is ay answer if you cant find a pick up to suit
