Bleeding the clutch on a GT4

Is this no different then bleeding brakes? I have installed the clutch cylinder on my GT4 and have bleed it but it still feels spongy.
I have had someone pump the clutch and hold the pedal down then I have undone the bleeding screw slightly and as soon as I get some fluid out of it I tighten it back up and repeat the process. I did this about 8 times, is that enough ?
Am I doing anything wrong or is there a better way to do this.
Thanks,

Just did the master and slave clutch cylinders on my sv21 camry a few weeks ago, they would be similar thou.
I found if you undo the bleeder valve thing first, then get someone to push the clutch all the way to the floor and hold it there. Then do the bleeder valve up fairly tight and then get the person to let the clutch up again.
I did this about 5 times and the clutch felt great, no air in it at all.
Make sure they don't let the clutch pedal up at all with the valve undone, as you will just get more air in it.
Some people like the idea of a bleeder bottle. its just a bottle with some fluid in it and a short pipe attached to the end of the valve, just pump the pedal up and down a few times and the air will usually get forced out. This is good if you are on your own, but if the air bubble is a long way up the pipe it may not escape.
The first way should always work
Works for the brakes to.
