From experience, I use Northline Freight for shipping parts and TNT Auto Logistics for cars ...
Best advice is to call around and get quotes as there often is a big difference across different freighters.
Even Aussie Post can do the smaller parts for real cheap - I've shipped manifolds before using their pre-fab boxes.

Watson's Express Transport, in Sydney on 9645 2508, I thoroughly recommend them, have used them heaps of times, for goods out of Perth to Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and other areas and towns.
