Hey guys i have been reading and thinking about gettin the apexi rev speed meter and i am wondering will this device work with my 4agze if anyone has any good info on this could they plz reply thanks.

Yeah, it works perfectly.
I got one from a friend when they found out i was moving to Melb.
Interfaces easily, only requires 4 wires.

Is this a suitible substitute to my speedo? How much variation will it accept for different diff ratios? How accurate have you found it? I'll need something like this for my 4A-GZE, see....

Its not a substitute. It gets its speedo signal from the speedo out wire, so relies on your speedo for speed. However, it can quite easily change the speed for calibration in 1% increments, either on tyre size or on rpm. So you are pretty set there.

Wow the noobs strike back.
There is no boost controller, nor can you use one on a GZE.

So no good if your using the Aus spec AE-86 dash or aftermarket EMS like Microsquirt? Looks like I'm in for a heap of pissing around.

Pretty much. Ive considered grabbing the guts out of a JDM speedo or another T50 speedo or AE92 one.
