not a fan of colour coded bumpers, well on old school cars anyway, it spoils the look. Chrome just looks sex!

Chrome wins...and its daylight to coloured in the back straight..
I recently had the front bumper repaired/restored/replated on my MX32.(why you ask? 'cause I creamed our garage door - glad it was wood) .interesting information(well I thought so)..The bar was sent to Victoria to be fixed and replated because in Vic. they plate over copper which is considered a superior base but in NSW its over nickel..because EPA regulations in NSW do not permit the use of copper in the plating process..

first tim i saw these i loved them on this car, whilst most people bag white rims i think this car gets away with them. This style simmons has always been a favourite of mine because they are a little less common.

any colour can look good, just depends on car colour, rim style, rim size, etc etc etc
and back on bumpers, here's what is known as an immaculate bumper

Would have to agree, I have always prefered chrome.
As for rims I also like black, take a look at the link in my siggy, for some black rims on an old school celica with chrome bumpers

i think the reason CLKWRK works with coloured bumpers is the fact that the grill and light surrounds look reasonably chromish, i spose thats a word but yeah as it was said it very much depends on the colour of the car.
btw CLKWRK has white rims aswell, looks wierd at first but grows on you

I am definantly keeping my bumpers chrome! nothing competes with the style of it
I'll also be putting on black 5 spoke wheels with a polished outer rim once i buy tyres for them.
