the standard computer will quiet happily run that, probably wont help it having that BOV, but the bov aint going to make any more power anyway just a want feature

SO I DONT NEED THE SAFC

is that what ur saying

what if the bov was plumbed back and then i just ran about 12 -14 psi boost

will that make it run rich or shuld it be ok

as i really dont want to spend too much money on the car , and am not that keen on the safc its just going by word that it helps lean out the rich mixtures the car runs if u turn the boost up , and also like the noise from the bov

thanks heaps

my old 1g-gte was a gen 3 version and i was running it at 11psi on stock computer also with an atmo BOV. (I was young and silly Smile) Anyway, it used to run extremely rich! If I was still and put my foot on the accelerator in neutral you could see fuel coming out the exhaust!

It didn't seem to blow much smoke when backing off though which is sorta weird?

why don't you go to a dyno place pay them $30 or whatever it is for a single run and see what your A/F's are. Then if they are way out then it is worth buying a SAFC.
