From what ive been told the 15x8 Superlites only came in +12 i think offset.

so let me get this straight, with a +12 offset does this mean the rims will protrude/track will increase 12mm wider each side than if the offset was neutral?
OR does +12 offset mean the mounting point for the rim is 12mm further towards the outside face of the rim, effectively reducing track by 12mm each side as compared to 0 offset..
??
ive never been certain which way it means...
im trying to determine if these rims will fit inside ra28 guards front and back without spacers, and without hitting struts/swaybars...

ok, on my 22, the wheels fitted perfectly on the rear and perfectly on the front, however it needs to be taken into consideration I had coilovers on the front.
I dont really understand all the rules about offset either.
Anyone want to clear this up??

+ve means there is more rim on the brake side, -ve means there is more rim toward outside of car.
+12 means that the mounting face is 12mm toward the outside of the wheel... ie there is 24mm more rim on the brake side, than toward the outside.
keep in mind the effect of rim width AND offset on how much rim is on the brake side....
8" = 203mm
for neutral offset, there's 101.5mm of rim on brake side
+12 = 113.5mm of rim on brake side (and 89.7 on outside)
for 6" rim this is only 88.1mm on the brake side...
so for a 6" rim to be same as the 15x8, +12, it needs to be +37 possibly?? (113.5mm on brake side, 38.9mm on outside?)

Jack: Just phone performance on Monday, they only made the superlites in a limited series of offsets and they will tell you how to determine this.

Mate, I wont take $650 dude, already giving them away as it is.
I cant say whether they will fit your TA22 perfectly. I have coilovers so they fit perfect on my car.
Did you grab those parts from Mitch yet?

Alrighty, seems everyone is trying to drive a hard bargain, $725 is my final price.
If no one wants them I will just keep them for the track as spares to my OZ Racing wheels.

OK...trying to work out if these will fit my car.
I currently have a 14x7 with +3mm offset. To achieve the same track width, with an 8" rim would I need to go to +16mm offset?
If so.....does that mean these rims will be 4mm wider than what I have?

I'd love to know what the track differnce is compared to Ma6x 14x7" wheels (can't rememebr offset, perhaps +8?). Nice looking wheels - how heavy are them? Weight is a big factor for me

Hey guys,
For anyone who is interested in these wheels, I had a look at them over the weekend and they are in excellent condition. I would have bought them myself if they had fit on the car.
One correction I will make, is the wheels are not +12 offset. They are actually a -4 offset.
The tyres are in pretty good condition too....still a bit of wear in them.
