It probably CAN be done with enough work. I have not done this though. I have fitted Datsun 200B struts with 240K tops - this is a lot of work. Go to pick and payless or similar and get the tape measure going, please let us know the results of your findings.
Good luck.

um, ask stewart (old corollas) you can use later ke70 type rotors and calipers - my understanding is they all bolt in place on the ke20. your PCD will change though from 4 x 100 to 4 x 114.3...
FWIW the stock ta22 brakes are pretty crap.
the other thing a ke20 will benefit from is a vaccuum booster and different master cylinder - i see many ke20's which have remote mount brake boosters to cure this.
hope this helps.

thanks grega, i have searched on here numerous times, every time i have a brain wave about brake conversions.
i do know that you can fit ke70 brakes and i have seen ke30 boosters and masters fitted, but i have a high hp (hopefully) engine to go in, so im looking for something pretty decent.
i also realize that ta22 brakes arent great, but they have the stud pattern i want and are still miles better than ke stuff, also CRS have released a kit for big falcon rotors and holden calipers for the ta22, if i decide to upgrade again down the track (or once i shit my pants cos the bakes have faded)
does anyone know of any good options?????????

No problem - Elongate the holes in the strut towers to fit the Datsun items and weld some finger nails in so that it looks like it belongs there - the bottoms bolt straight to the steering link on top of the control arms. I reversed the struts (IE drivers side to passenger side) this means that you will need to swap the springs as they are different rates on each side). The springs also need to be shortened to get the ride height correct. I used the 240K tops as the ones off the 200B don't fit in the tower, then butcher a set of K Mac top of strut camber thingies so that you can get something that resembles neutral camber.
Then you can go and bolt some HiLux 4 spots (mine have '88 Pintara rotors that have been modified to bolt onto the 200B hubs).
This conversion is totally insane... and I would personally go to greater lengths to avoid it in the future. Consider Corona struts, the KE20 has very narrow strut towers pushing you to use something that has a small diameter spring winding.

Do you have contact details (and/or the full name) for CRS?
Thanks
