k&n Filters!! Does insurance have to know??? Sat, 01 May 2004 11:59 Go to next message
Say my mate was to get a k&n replacement panel filter for his celica... Is it classified as a modification? I would have thought its just classified as a different quality of air filter...

Regards
Adrian!

I dont know where you heard the "only on non-turbo" cars from, but most insurance companies will quite happily void your insurance for a pod filter, regardless of the type of engine it's on.

and I'm 95% sure a drop-in panel filter is fine

panel filter is fine

turbo or n/a with a pod isnt...because it's not enclosed like the panel filters are..."safety" issue or some shit Rolling Eyes
