Try your local rubbish tip. They should have a section for motor oil. Ours does.

Get a twenty litre drum and collect a few oil changes, dispose of a whole lot at the same time. $3 tho - there's like a whole spark plug, once every 2 months (approx oil change interval) that's like $18 a year! I don't think that will necessitate a visit to the bank manager.

I put my bottles into the shed inbetween tip visits. Besides, if they're dumb enough to drink it, they deserve to die.
Speaking of which, we have free tip access where I live.

I'm quiet sure if some on in toowoomba threw used motor oil in gowrie creek no one would notice It's polluted enough as it is I wouldn't be game to swim in it or drink from it
$3!no wonder I'm short after I go to the refuse tip to by a quater pounder mc value meal at maccas $3 could also contrubute towards fuel money

Use the stuff for termite protection... pour it on your fence posts.

Use it for rust protection, fill the carpet, head lining, and boot area in your car with it.

Toobs is on the money...

Its terrific and cheaper than creosote..fence posts I doused 30 plus years ago are still rot and insect free...The fence my dad put up at our house in 1960 had all the fence posts done over the next 5 or 6 years by my brother and myself...lots of cars and lots of oil changes --the posts are nearly all still rock solid and we replaced just the palings and the rails about 10 years ago..
