Does anyone know how they improved the design of the 2nd generation 3sge?

Did they change much or did they just redesign for better air flow at lower engine speeds?

A : Quite different intake port design.

Also the ECU and related emissions gear is much better developed/tuned. I think there are the usual intake manifold layout changes and stuff like that.

It's just newer tech really.
