haha "rebuilt from ground up" =
'Had massive acco and bent the chassis rails, beat them back into position with a persuader. Looks pretty straight. Put all the pannels back on, bit of bog and sprayed over the top.'
And that description fits pretty much any MA61!

i know this car guys. comes from where I lived before I moved to Sydney. Has been police owners since new. The first owener was the high way patrol commander for the south coast region. was an elderly fella and you always saw him driving it around town, like it was his pride and joy. when he retired he sold it to another local police officer who is getting married and is buying a family car (dunnydore). Anyway, I talked to him today and asked about the rust situation, being a coastal car. He said there was minor surface rust near the fuel filler and backleft corner of hatch (usual spots) both were rubbed back and cut.
Sounds like a nice car if the price is right.

everyone would know my car. well i sold it just on sunday just past. i got $4000 for my car without RWC and rego. the now owner drove it back to b'bane without any misshaps.
so for those people out there that were looking for a reliable ma61 supra. you just missed mine.
