u know the disc inside a points dizzy that the points screw onto, what would happen if that disc was a bit rough to turn, like it had sand in it.
Could that make it flatspot slightly when bringing it off idle/cruise

Hmmmm i dont know about that...doesnt that only move when you adjust the vacuum advance but id be saying swap it anyway...i have one here if ya want it but why not just go the elec dizzy straight up...
