how much modification is needed? anyone done this? im guessing they are alot comfier than an OBX daytona (i own a rex, but never sat in the OBX seats)

I think these turn out to be really high in a sprinter... I'm not too sure but I seem to remember a thread on these forums a while back about it

a wrx seat will be infinitely more comfortable and last longer than a daytona.

hey mate, the modification are easy for me as i have all the gear to make it easy...you just make new rails then bolt just the rails in then position the seat on the rail, tack weld them, take them out and weld them properly...
wanna sell me your rex seats???

You will need to lose about 5cm from the diameter of your leg to fit it betwee nthe steering wheel & the seat if you fit WRX seats to your sprinter.
I've seen it because I bought my WRX seats from a guy who had done this.
The WRX seat have a large distance between the bottom of the rail & the seat itself.
They're not made to fit in a sports coupe.

Hey man, you sai dyou have a wrx right? Or did u just mean a set of wrx seats.
I was previously told this information about the wrx seats sitting too high in a sprinter too recently.....
So I do believe this is true.
But just out of interest, do u mind taking a measuring tape and giving a measurement, may not to approximate due to obsticles....
between the wrx floorpan and the bottom of the steering wheel?
Just want to compare the clearence space between that and the same measurement in a sprinter.

so from the floor to the bottom of the steering wheel?
about 43cm with the wheel at full height.
the sprinter honestly feels a shitload better to drive. you sit so much lower, when i get into the wrx after driving the ae86 with the small steering wheel, it feels like im driving a bus!

hmmmm let me think about that, leather wrx seats in the sprinter. HELLA NO!
the seats alone cost me as much as the sprinter just to be leathered!
i just have access to a cheap seat, and was wondering.
