The box will work but it the bellhousing won't fit a 7m. The NA 2jz 5-speed you could always on-sell to someone here who is doing a 1jz conversion and wants a manual!
With the proceeds you could by a w58 or an R154 with the correct bellhousing for a 7m (these are plentiful).
Of course, if you do a search you'll find this topic has been covered often....

Yes you can use a 7M bellhousing on a 2JZ-GE 5-speed, and it will then bolt up to your Soarer. You're much better off getting an R154 though since that's what came behind 7M-GTE's originally; it's stronger than the W58 and you won't have to modify the shifter (the 2JZ-GE box has an external shifter which is too far back for your car).

you use a w58 dont ya norbie? um.. ive been tryin to get an r154 but as soon as theres a cheap one its gone straight away and i could get an r154 but id have to pay close to 2000!! and thats not even with the rest of the gear that ill need for the conversion.. so i guess the main thing im asking is that is it easy /cheap to find a bellhousing, ecu, clutch assembly, modify the shifter .. (anything else i need)for this w58 to go in ..thanks for the help too i know yous probly hear the same questions over and over

I have an M-W58 bellhousing. I will be happy to swap with the JZ-W58 bellhousing with you.
