Have you got some snow chains lying around somewhere gathering dust? If so, can you check if they would fit 14 inch rims with 75 profile tyres?
If they do, I'd like to buy them off you.

PS I bought the car with these ridiculously tall tyres. I didn't buy them, I swear.

u can borrow some for a slab of beer, depending on the week you go to the snow, u will have to pay a deposit of course, and if they go missin then ull pay for them, let me know  in adelaide too

I need them for the entire season. I'll find out in the next couple of days whether I get the job snowmaking in Thredbo or not. If not, I'm going anyway and I'll get another job.
Would you lend them for a whole season for a couple of slabs or equivalent money (given the price of Pale Ale these days (unless you drink West End.. then I'm not sure I want your chains  ))?
I'll be selling the car after the season; keep an eye out in October for a schmick red RA40 for sale  .

funny you say whole season ( aussie season = 12 weeks ), cos im talking with my dad about taking me to japan or nz ( it will prolly be nz due to costs ) to the snow there, aussie snow is ok but its like same old every year!! so if we go O/S fine, if not, then probably not, we will be going to hotham if we dont go over seas and we will need them there ill let u know thanks
