Has anyone had any experience in fixing the manual heater valve? Mine is leaking from the top where the shaft enters the valve.
I would imagine that most others around in wrecks are in similar condition. Are new ones still available from Toyota?

Last time I priced a new one, it was $167 - and that was a trade price!!! Find a good second hand unit!

I rebuilt my MA45 one was a matter of opening it up cleaning, new O rings and polish the little chrome shaft... good as new

my local auto parts shop at Oxley has a cheap landcruisier item that i used - only difference is water going to valve is routed differently - nothing you can't work around.
every old one i've tried to re-life has failed. maybe Allan has the touch with these?
