Moving to find a job, worth while?

Hey all
I've been struggling to find a job in the IT industry in brisbane for about 6 months now. I used to live in Melbourne (many years ago) and there seems to be a few more jobs advertised down there. What do people think, is it worth moving state to find a job, i'm 22 and in need of some direction before i go crazy

IMO only move if you have a job to go to...
Doing on spec leads to trouble!

Seriously if you cant find a job here your not looking hard enough!
I have been offer lots of jobs in the IT area at various company's. These same company's keep saying that they are struggling to even find a contractor that has time to do work for them.

i moved from tassie to melbourne for work.. left my GF and everything behind.. never regretted doing anything as much in my life. make sure its the right thing before doing it.. its a big move

I moved from bris to the UK for fun and also for better job opps..
There is so much more work (in IT anyway) here than there will ever be at home.. having said that I am outa here soon!!
So my vote is go for it, but you may not find that there is that much more work in Sydney than there is in Brisbane.
Although, as cool1 said, if you look hard (and creatively) enough you can get good IT work in Brisbane..

why dont u go for a few interviews in sydney first, then if u score, move here ?
