2tg gearbox alternative Thu, 06 May 2004 11:53 Go to next message
Alright here's the question.
I got the 2tg with the t50 gearbox, but at phillip Island track I need a 6 gear!

any suggestions on a 6 speed that could be used?

fair enough. I'll probably need to look at diff ratio's rather than the 6 speed box.

What stuff have ya done to the engine to get rev's 8500???

I'm running a pretty stock 2tg with twin weber's at the moment. Until the race car is finished.

You can use the Altezza 6 speed as the bell housing bolt patterns are the same as the 2T. Final drive for the 6 speed is the same as the W58 (.84:1 I think)
