hmm tap the oil light switch?
you can buy adaptors for it at your local autoshop
remove the oil warning light, add the adaptor, connect those hose and put back the oil light ontop?

AE86 (i asume your talking about your ae86) 4ac runs a oil gauge not a oil light. Ive got no idea where to put it.

It must be the oil light pick up switch, an oil light is a cheap alternative for an oil gauge. It saved toyota a few yen as well as lumbering it with the 4ac engine.

the stock oil pressure switch is for a gauge, yes.
you will have to remove it, get the appropriate fitting kit for your gauge, and fit that there.
not exactly rocket science, but make sure you get the right fittings, and when you run the hose for the gauge, try not to kink it when going through the firewall.
cheers

where abouts it this stock oil switch? is it near 3rd and 4th cylinder (in between)?
all i have is a big screw there, dosent looks too standard, maybe this is why the gauge incar wont work!
just need to know where in the engine bay to get signal from
thanks
