86kw cams on a 100kw motor? Fri, 07 May 2004 01:28 Go to next message
guys i read somewhere someone did this..

what gains would you get by just changing the 86kw cams onto the 100kw motor and running standard 100kw ecu + full exhaust?

i hear the 86kw cams have bigger lift or something? True?

thanks heaps!!

taller lift

bigger duration i think its 10*-12* more

you'd probably get 2-4kw more at the wheels? and a stronger mid-high range drivability.

if you have the tools why not?

i got me a set of spare bigport cams that i wouldnt mind putting in the 100kw. just i dont have the dial gauges etc
