the box will fit depending on whether or not you have yourself a 3T-w58 bellhousing 
the details of that bellhousing im not sure about though, sorry, youll have to post in the tech and conversions section.
I have a bellhousing to suit M series blocks if that helps anyone

Sounds like you are the man to see for anyone doing a MA61 7MGTE conversion??!

ok, time for an update...
for everyone who PM'd me, thanks for your interest, ill try and answer all your questions here so everyone else can benefit
- first of all, i have sourced shifter and housing in excellent condition. i will also purchase a bish kit and install it should the buyer want me to do that (i might as well, that way you buy it complete an functioning). the shifter is rear most position.
- with the shifter and the new bushes included, total price will be $320. price without the bushes (but still including the whole shifter assembly) will be $290.
- I have a M series bellhousing that will make this bolt up to a 7mgte, a 5mge, a 4m or whatever. $80
- I have a 225mm M series flywheel that you can use with the above engines also, though this is the smaller of the two available flywheels, the larger being 236mm. $40

- I have also sourced a bellhousing + flywheel + starter motor to suit the 3TGTE... this isnt mine, but can be sold as a package with the box. the guy is asking $300 for these parts alone (which isnt bad considering availability).
ALSO - im heading out of town as of sun 16th may, so if youre keen, let me know so we can get this sorted before i leave, otherwise, there will be some delay before i get back and can follow things through (apprx 3 weeks)
