Ill be there almost for sure... as i said.. i probably wont finish work till 9:30 but ill try and get away earlier.. im already trying to get the day off to change my suspension over with wilbo and phil...
as i said.. you all better stay out till the end at 3 am if come cause otherwise ill be there for no time

Count me in, oh and the car i drive...RA 28 with a 1G-GTE with a nice urine-sample yellow paint job! We can end up at the Monastery night club; which has the hottest girls and guys(so i've been told) Due to the fact i know the house DJ we can get in for free. But i need to know how many of us are going. I think that we should start some were cheap or at some ones place( My place is great for a gatherings!) And yes i'm a piss-head hense the slow work on my car. Anyway whos got anymore ideas?

must of missed the previous thread.. whats happining here? im on north side of brissy, where is this pub crawl being started and ending at?
if some one has a house /unit or something I do work at a bottle shop so I can get some mean discounts at other fridge stores so we can continue the demolishment of our livers after the clubs close. 
either that or stay at the casino till 5am when the bar close's 
but some info on this would be mad... like a meeting place at the start of the night and end up...well..where ever.
id be catching the train in and out of the city... dont like the idea of driving after a big night out

haha yeh backyard drinking sessions end up more fun than the city I reckon, no bouncers to tell you when youve had enough etc.
I would do my backyard, got err... 4 spare bed's and a lot of spare floor space for people to pass out on
I even have a mad bbq
depending on definates and shit I could organise it. plus, my neighbours are alright, they owe me for their last shitty party's that kept me awake.
I could house around 10-15 ppl MAX. just need a alot of esky's to keep the booze chilled, my beer fridge (which is around 10 steps from the bbq/drinking area coincidently) can only hold 3 cartons
and the other downer is I live around 30mins north of the city at north lakes so I dunno how people would be about traveling that far.

mmm sounds tempting...i've turned into a bit of a wuss now that im working 3am-11. I'm usually ready for bed by 8-9pm....if i can get a sleep-in & dont have to work sat i'd be interested
hmmm, to drive or not to drive that is the question...
from what i gather so far it's either going to be
1. Pissup as someones house
2. Few drinks as someones then head out
3. Head out into the city
4. Head out into the valley
whats the general vibe peoples
where does everyone live? I'm in sunnybank hills, francis is in greenslopes, johal & jake are somewhere near everton park (im guessing thats northside)
would obviously need a central meeting place if its going to be at someones house or else south siders could meet somewhere like garden city for a few pre drinks and bus it in & northsiders can have a few a their watering hole before heading in & meeting up
gah!...i'm not an ideas man

Hmmm i live at rocklea...2 minutes from train station also....Nice size yard but not much room for people sleeping unless u use the yard somewhere. I have a down stairs fridge (sortof) and a bbq if someone brings a gas bottle. Its not that big though. If i can con a few people into letting me use the house as a party haven then we are in. But dontjust take this as a diffinant

what if people voice places they'd like to go. If its going to be a pub crawl do doubt we'll visit a few places.
most public transport stops around 12:30-1 so if we stay out later it doesnt matter if we go city or valley. If we leave earlier then the city would prolly be a better option...loads of buses & trains.
so what are peoples favourite haunts? and it has to be a place where you can sit down and have a drink and not have to shout at the guy beside you
if we head into the valley i suggest either Belushi's (great in winter...outside tables have gas heaters)or No 12 (lots of couches but music can get loud. I love Empire & Rics but empire is very loud and seating limited..rics is pretty small too
city boys speak up? I dont really know any places in the city...i hardly ever go there. I can only think of either the casino, Criterion or a few of those irish pubs that dot the mall along the wintergarden

My favourite places in town are the vic, the stockie and port office. I've found hotel LA to also be good, as is the milk bar.... Towards the vally you can't really go past GPO and belushis.

seriously though, from my observations if you wanna pick up you go to the city...valley chicks are cool but they're more into having a good time & chilling with mates. Maybe im going to the wrong places

so vote who is from what part of town:
NOrthside (past gateway)
Southside - anywhere beyond gateway
West - before ipswich
East..dunno many eastern suburbs
Im just south of the gateway.

well, i'd prolly be able to have something at my place...it's ok for parties...has a pool table and adjoining outdoor area..works well
its about 20 min south of the cbd...basically on the corner of pinelands rd (/mains rd) & hellawell rd (ubd search will give you an idea)
if ppl are prepared to travel that far then cool. Theres a bus stop about 2 min down the road (bus no 130). But buses only run inbound until 10:30pm, so if ppl still wanted to go out it'd be bus or a $20 cab fare or, closest train stop is Altandi which is about 7 min drive inbound on mains rd
i'll have to kick my parents out for the night too

Well, don't know about the rest of ya, but I say south/east Brisbannites meet at Diceys(Garden City) at 7:30. Close to public Transport both outbound and inbound. If we want to head into the big smoke its just a simple matter getting a bus in. I recommend Pig and Whistel Indro for Westsiders but I dont know the Northside very well.
Come on, the 22nd is not too far away people!
